1999年成立于东京，以三人为一体的Miaou与一众新掘起的日本后摇乐队一样在默默做着变革，他们没有像mono般冲出日本，却一直紧守岗位，吸纳着西方后摇的精神，却注入东方的细腻表达手法。Miaou的作品没有大喜大悲的戏剧段落，感情却在缓缓流动，你可以感受到乐队那种勇敢正面，却又不失客观抽离的世界观。玩着这些没有包袱的音乐，没有要跟谁拼个你死我活，没有要向那位大师致敬的亦步亦趋，更没有Let’s get rock and roll的盲目激情，原来日本后摇也可以如斯风光明媚。
